I've been using Django ever since it was first open-sourced in 2005.

Over the years I've developed numerous Django websites, some from scratch and some extending what others have started.

Notable Projects

• Pitchup.com: A camping search engine for the UK using GeoDjango for location-based search, and interfacing with multiple online booking APIs including Sage Pay as payment gateway.
• mbed: Collaborative site for a rapid prototyping tool, developed by the world's biggest microprocessor company, ARM. Integrated Trac and in-browser editors with Django-based forum and blog applications.
• Focus Project Management: A fully customisable CMS developed for a project management course broker.
• django-tinymce: A GZip compression module for this TinyMCE Django plugin.
• Rycote: Product site for microphone windshields.
• Tole-rants: User-generated video site running on Google App Engine.
• Bet Ha Bracha: A complete e-commerce site for a Judaica shop. (No longer operational.)

Talks and Training

I gave a tutorial on Django for Beginners at PyCon UK in 2007. Simon Willison, Django co-creator, gave a followup talk.
